Who is better, Mario or Sonic?

I personally think they are both good. Sonic games are not getting worse but Tremendously worse but Sonic as a character is cool. While Mario games entertain and last long. And Mario as a character is just awesome.

I personally have to say both. Both have been 2 of my Favorite game Characters.

I say Mario because i kinda grew up playing mario games. Also, i really hate sonic games, dont ask, i just really dont like them for no good reason. Lastly, i think that the idea of an ittalian plumber is better that a blue hedgehog who has to save the world from a fat dude.

i have to say Sonic over Mario by far. i've always hated mario games because they are so repetive in gameplay and storyline, the only one's that had good storylines were the rpgs. besides when u think about it its just a plumber fighting a talking turtle. I can't say Sonic games have gotten better but they aren't bad.
